He proposed to you and you said Yes! Now you are engaged! Congratulations! Now what? Well, getting some beautiful and romantic engagement portraits of you and your groom to be would be a good start! What better way to memorialize that happy time in your life than having a set of portraits you can always look back on and cherish. What you want your engagement photos to be like is a lot more flexible than at a wedding itself. In your engagement photo session with me, you can be on the beach (Virginia Beach during a glorious sunrise for instance), in a serene forest, in downtown surroundings, or even at your home. It's up to you! If you choose a downtown setting there are several areas in downtown Norfolk that make for great photos. Alternatively, there are many cities in the surrounding area that serve just as well. Be sure to wear nice clothes to match the overall feel that you want for you engagement portraits: casual, fun, formal, elegant, classical, and so forth. As a professional wedding photographer I will place you and your future husband in fun and romantic poses for you portraits, so come ready to show your smiles and your love for each other!
